Minutes

1. New people:
   • Three new research assistants are hired in the Human Time Data project to work with data management in our labs
   • Our two lab engineers will arrive early 2019:
     • Mocap, arriving in January
     • EEG, arriving in March
2. Lab status
   • The lab is not entirely finished (cables, electricity, noisy lights, etc.).
   • Qualisys mocap is operational
   • Audio sync will be resolved soon (possibly next week) 
   • Ventilation, dimming of lights, and temperature is controlled by the small panel by the door inside the lab.
     • Luft = Air / ventilation
     • Lys = Light
     • Av = off, P? = on
   • The west-wall in the lab will be kept white for projection (no cable storage on the wall)
   • The sound insulation is sufficient for most things, but we need to talk to people above and below when we do loud experiments (Drum recordings, EDM, ...)
3. Storage
   • Lab
     • Some space for temporary storage of large equipment. Long-term/permanent storage in the basement.
     • (Foldable) chairs
     • Camera / microphone / note stands
     • Clothing rack with hangers for mocap suits in the ventilation area
     • Some shelves
     • If needed: consider a flightcase or similar tidy solution in the corner of the room.
     • markers and suits should be stored inside the lab, not in the control room.
   • Control room
     • 2-3 shelves above the screens. for small/lightweight storage
     • Maybe put an edge on the shelves to keep things from falling off
     • store calibration kit next to analysis computer
     • cables on the back wall
4. To do/follow up
   • Establish routines for cleaning mocap suits
   • Make sure that the floor in the lab is not varnished/polished (to avoid reflections)
   • Audio sync (We need two forms of sync: (1) SMPTE/time code and (2) recording the trigger on signal on an audio track.)
   • Give everyone access to the booking system for the lab.
