Implementation phase

The project implementation phase begins at the commencement date of the project and runs until the project concludes.

The Faculty of Educational Sciences’ procedures complement the University of Oslo’s guide for research projects.

Project Manager

  • Ensures that the project achieves the promised results within the agreed budget and established deadlines.
  • Informs the head of unit and research support of progress in the project
  • Keeps the funder and/or coordinator informed of the progress in the project
  • Submits scientific and financial reports to the funder and/or coordinator
  • Ensures that contractual information with the funder and partners is up-to-date
  • Disseminates outcomes from the project

Research Adviser

  •  Assists in reporting
  •  Assists in the event of changes to the project
  •  Ensures that project documentation is stored
  •  Convenes status meetings throughout

Finance Officer

  •  Follows up on project finances
  •  Registers buy-out of project team members
  •  Assists in reporting to the funder and/or coordinator
  •  Assists the research adviser in ensuring that project documentation is managed

Forankring

The project manager is responsible for ensuring that support for the project is anchored among unit management.

During the implementation phase, the head of unit must approve any changes to the budget. Changes to the agreement with the funder and cooperation agreements must also be approved by the head of unit.
