Announcement:
- Individual researchers and research groups are welcome to apply (incl. temporary employees such as PhD-students and postdocs). Collaboration across fields and sections is an advantage. The strategic aim of supporting early career researchers will be considered as part of the assessment as well as increasing the diversity and proportion of women among the top professional positions.As a general rule, applicants who received funding last year will not be prioritized this year. The head of the department will, together with the department's management, assess the applications and set a priority.
- The proposal (max 3 pages) should briefly describe background, aims and methods, and how the funding will be used in 2023. The proposal should also describe relevant ethical issues and approvals. The proposal should briefly discuss how the project relates to relevant criteria for open science, and how the funding will be used to stimulate further external grant applications (e.g. the Norwegian and European research councils).
- Budget and references must be included in the proposal as part of the max 3 pages.
- Maximum grant amount per proposal is NOK 500 000.
- CV (max 2 pages) for the project leader and any key internal collaborators should be submitted together with the proposal. Each project leader can only submit one application.
