The term collaborative project is used for research projects with participants from at least three different institutions and at least three different countries.

Incentives: Collaborative projects

KD position

An MN researcher who is successful in applying as the coordinator (project leader) of a collaborative project can receive one KD position.

Project Establishment Support (PES funding)

An MN researcher who is the coordinator (project leader) of a collaborative project is eligible to apply for the MN PES funding. You can see examples of activities that are supported by these funds and the guidelines for applying for them here:

Research excellence funds

An MN researcher who is the coordinator (project leader) of a collaborative project can receive operational support funds for administrative tasks in connection with the implementation of the project.
