Phase 1: Planning and analysis
1 December 2010 – 21 June 2011
- Establish a project organization
- Clarify which areas and/or processes are to be worked on and what goals are to be achieved
- Clarify which data need to be collected to map and analyse the selected areas and processes and what method is to be used
- Find key people for the various projects
- Arrange training in the methodology, as necessary
- Draw up an implementation plan for the individual area and for the individual unit (faculty, museum, central level), including clarification of needs for internal and external resources in the project period
- Assign priorities to the main processes that are being focused on in the project in terms of selection, delimitation, order and resources
- Make an overall implementation plan for the project for the period 2011–2013
- Draw up a budget divided into four-month periods in accordance with the implementation plan for the period 2011–2013
Phase 2: Implementation
1 July 2011 – 31 December 2013
- Implement the agreed measures in order of priority
- Half-year evaluations of the ongoing projects
- Learn from the experiences with the first measures so that the plan can be adjusted as necessary on a six-monthly basis
