In the office areas, wood surface finishes and warm colours have been chosen to provide a clear contrast to the cleaner laboratory environments. Emphasis has been placed on ergonomics and functionality.
The workstations
- Employees will receive height-adjustable desks and personal storage with a digital lock.
- The desks are equipped with two power sockets in the desktop and a conduit for two network cables.
- Standard workstations measure 160 x 80 cm, and master's workstations will be 140 x 80 cm.
- Three varieties of office chairs will be provided, including an ergonomic option.
- In the office landscapes, sound-absorbing desk screens will also be supplied.
Reusability
A central aspect of the interior strategy is reusability, and many reused furniture pieces will be integrated into the common areas. This includes furniture in the cafeteria and mini kitchens, as well as armchairs and sofas in break rooms.
