The moving to the Life science building is set to start in the second quarter of 2026. Here is an overview of the stages and the timeline leading up to the move.

The move into the Life Sciences Building will begin in the second quarter of 2026. Until then, the building will be tested by its future users to make necessary adjustments.

The new building and its infrastructure will pave the way for the research and development environment of the future and thus contribute to ensuring Norway's competitiveness in life sciences.

Most of the Department of Biosciences at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and parts of the Institute of Oral Biology at the Faculty of Dentistry will move into the new life science building.
