Welfare Offerings at the Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum is committed to providing excellent wellness offerings for its employees.

The Welfare Committee

The museum has a welfare committee that organises annual summer trips, summer parties, mushroom-picking excursions, and Christmas parties. The summer party usually takes place on the last Friday of August, and the Christmas party on the last Friday of November.

The committee includes employees from all departments and buildings across the museum.

Members:

Would you like to join the welfare committee, contribute specifically to the party committee for the summer or Christmas party, or share ideas and tips for trips or other welfare events? Feel free to contact any member of the welfare committee.

Lunch Talks

Join us one Thursday each month at 12 for an engaging popular science lecture at T?yen Hovedg?rd. Bring your packed lunch, enjoy the company of colleagues, and gain new insights during your break!

The Natural History Museum's Employee Choirs

Do you like to sing? The museum has two employee choirs: a women's choir, Bl?strupene (The Bluebreasts), and a men's choir, R?dstrupene (The Redbreasts).

Free Admission to Museums

As an employee of the Natural History Museum, you have the opportunity to enjoy free admission to various other museums. Some of these museums require a museum card, which can be borrowed from the museum administration (finance section).
