KVU may provide funding to associations and activities with a more specific purpose which as a general rule are open to all UiO employees. In addition, the committee may support the implementation of social networks and other measures across disciplinary and position boundaries which aim to improve satisfaction among employees. We prefer to support activities that are addressed to a larger group of employees and include as many as possible. We do not support units that have their operating budgets, but rather associations and organisations at UiO.
How to submit an application?
You can apply for funds for your activity by completing the Nettskjema form. Applications for funds can be sent to the Culture and Welfare Committee continuously, but no later than 2 months before the planned activity. The Committee adheres to four deadlines per year:
15 January, 15 April, 15 August and 15 October.
You will receive an answer to your application within 2 weeks after the nearest deadline.
When your application has been granted
When funds have been granted, you must report on the use of the funds within one month after the activity has ended. You will be sent a separate online form for reporting. Unused funds amounting to 10% or more of the granted sum must be returned to KVU. All application documents (the application, the committee’s reply and the report) are archived in Elements.
