About the concert

Erlend Ropstad will release new music in early 2026 and, in connection with this, will embark on a nationwide solo tour. The audience will encounter a different side of Ropstad than the energetic rock version he has presented in recent years with his band. This time, a more stripped-down and intimate expression is at the centre.

The tour marks Erlend Ropstad’s 20th anniversary as an artist, and musically he partly returns to the style from the start of his career, when he travelled alone with an acoustic guitar and performed concerts in Norway and elsewhere in Europe.

At Oslo Concert Hall the concert will take on a completely new format. Here Ropstad shares the stage with the orchestra that helped shape his musical upbringing. The collaboration will be a magnificent finale to the solo tour. With new music, clear references to his roots and a fully symphonic sound, everything is in place for a truly special concert experience.

The concert will take place on 10 April at 19:00 and will last approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
