About the performance

Hayes Carll’s tenth album, We’re Only Human, finds him stepping back from preaching or instructing and instead listening to his own candid, consistent voice. The record is an understated masterpiece that captures his personal grappling with forgiveness, presence, trust, and inner peace—questions that feel both intimate and universal. Carll admits he’s long lived “outside of myself,” pulled away by distractions, fear, and anxiety; this album is his attempt to quiet the noise and stay present.

Corb Lund is an elusive Canadian singer-songwriter who blends outlaw country, Western, and indie-folk with curious, rowdy devotion. Raised on a DIY ethos, he built his career by self-producing, self-promotion, and relentless touring, evolving from indie-metal beginnings into a distinctive Western songwriter. A decorated artist with many awards, Lund made his Grand Ole Opry debut and released the originals album El Viejo in February 2024.
