In that case, ISMO is thrilled to invite all researchers at UiO to an after-work PowerPoint evening, held at UNION, 22.01.2026 at 17:00. The participants are encouraged to bring their own 5-7 minute PowerPoint presentation about a topic of their choice. It can be anything - a special interest, a ranking, or a personal story. The top three presentations have a chance to win up to NOK 2000 in book vouchers!
Performing a presentation is, however, not necessary or mandatory to attend, so feel free to sign up as a spectator. You are also welcome to bring a plus-one guest (it can be a partner, a friend or a Norwegian colleague), and they can perform their own presentations if they wish to do so.
The event itself is free, but the venue has a bar where you can buy drinks if you need refreshments (or extra bravery). Remember that the only aim of the event is to have fun and get to know your colleagues, so please be generous to your fellow participants in return for their contributions.
