UiO Dual Career & Spouse Network
We find it important that the family members of our international employees also thrive in Oslo. Therefore, UiO is currently establishing a Dual Career & Spouse Network to help the partners feel at home in Oslo/Norway.?
The network will hold its first kick-off meeting Tuesday, January 27th 2026.
The kick-off meeting will have an informal and social tone. We will share UiO’s thoughts on the purpose of the network and, importantly, invite your input on how it can best be shaped. Our main aim is to ensure that the network truly meets your needs. There will also be plenty of time for informal conversation and socializing, giving us the opportunity to get to know each other better.?
The Dual Career & Spouse Network members will have diverse backgrounds from around the world, but are united by their shared experiences as internationals in Oslo. We strongly encourage you to join the community to expand your social network as a newcomer to Norway, and to increase your knowledge about the Norwegian job market and society.
