Department of Education Services
The Department of Education Services has overall responsibility for the operation, management and standardization of administrative support functions in education.
The department shall:
- assist UiO's management strategically and operationally, as well as ensure institutional follow-up and coordination
- assist the units with administrative operations and provide services directly to students and applicants
- lead UiO's education administrative networks.
The central tasks of the Department are related to:
- Studies program portfolio
- Regulations
- Learning Environment
- Student admissions
- Facilitation for students
- Student exchange
- Reception of students
- Education management program
- Quality system for education
- Study administrative computer systems
- Secretariat tasks for relevant committees, forums and networks
