Election statement
Temporary academic staff represent a large part of the faculty staff at the University of Oslo (UiO). We contribute to all the primary tasks of a Norwegian university; teaching, research and dissemination of research. Thus, it is important for us to make our voices heard and influence our possibilities in research activity and our workday conditions by being represented on the UiO board.
We - the temporary academic staff at UiO - need:
- The same working conditions and rights as a permanent staff during our employment at UiO.
- To be aknowledged as important in relation to the primary tasks at UiO. Further, to be able and encouraged to continue evolving in relation to academic ambitions and other relevant knowledge.
- To have predictability in our working conditions, and have a say in relevant issues and processes concerning our employment.
I will represent all the temporary academic staff at UiO, together and in dialogue with relevant interest groups (unions etc.) in order to do the best possible job.
