Research Ethics Committee at the University of Oslo

The Research Ethics Committee is UiO's Committee for the Investigation of Research Misconduct pursuant to § 6 second section of the research ethics act.

The committee process and comment on notified cases concerning possible violationa of recognized norms of research ethics involving persons who have or have had an association to UiO.

Furthermore, the Research Ethics Committee provide advice for work in research ethics at UiO.

Reporting a case

Possible violations of recognised norms in research ethics at the University of Oslo are reported through an online form. It is not necessary to be an employee or a student at the University of Oslo to report a case.

The form is submitted through a secure, encrypted electronic line to the secretariate of the Research Ethics Committee.
