Aging affects all of us. But what's actually happening inside our bodies as we get older? Is there anything we can do about it?
At the heart of this question is a remarkable molecule called NAD?. It sits at the very core of how our cells produce energy, repair damage, and keep us healthy. Understanding what NAD? does — and how it shapes the way we age — is exactly what the NADIS consortium is working on.
This evening brings together researchers from across Europe who have dedicated their careers to these questions. For the audience, no scientific background is needed — just your curiosity.
In this evening event, we will cover broad topics in addition to NAD+, including
- why we age;
- what NAD? has to do with slowing ageing, covering scientific mechanisms and clinical results;
- how exercise and diet impact our quality of life when we get old; and
- how to live healthier, happier lives for longer.
There will be plenty of time for questions and conversation.
