What is it with Italy that has fascinated and tempted people through history? Is it the food, the culture or the nature? Or is it the great emotions?
In this concert, The Norwegian Wind Ensemble plays music that is full of passion, energy and temperature – Italian characteristics which can be found in everything that tempts us with the country.
The classical works have all the roots from Italy and the baroque, so-called early music. The orchestra's curator for the era, Peter Whelan, is also tonights conductor.
