?Science in Resistance? by Dr. Fernando Racimo's, is a first-person account of a global movement of scientists and academics who are mobilizing for climate and social justice and forming the organization Scientist Rebellion.

The book explores various questions: What does it mean for scientists to leave the comfort of their ivory tower and take to the streets as active participants in social change? In what ways are academic institutions complicit in exploitative logic? How can academic institutions be changed to promote social and ecological welfare?

Join us to hear Fernando Racimo talk about his research. After the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion.
