Discussion: Electricity for dummies

Should we choose "Norgespris" in the Oslo area? What is the problem with onshore wind power? Why is electricity a commodity?

“Electricity for dummies – everyone uses it, no one understands it” is the fourth and final event in the Green Office's Transition Week.

We have invited Labour party politician Agnes Viljugrein, Norway manager at Vindr Andreas Thon Aasheim, and secretary general at Sabima Einar Wilhelmsen to help us sort out the Norwegian electricity debate.

They will share their views on the electricity market and power development, and how power development can take place with respect for our natural environment.

We promise a low threshold, high temperature (literally), and a moderator who knows even less about electricity than you do. This is an opportunity to understand a little more about the electricity crisis and what is at stake.

The conversation will be held in Norwegian and take place at the student pub U1 in the basement of Eilert Sundts hus. Food will be served!
