The University of Oslo has long engaged with data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning. With the global and local demand for data scientists surging, we are excited to launch a new EU-funded postdoctoral program that will add 36 new data science positions at our university.
The DSTrain Kickoff Seminar on November 8, 2024, officially launched the DSTrain postdoctoral programme. Hosted at the University Library at the University of Oslo, the event gathered the newly appointed postdocs, their supervisors, and key stakeholders invested in the programme’s success.
On October 17th, 2024, Data Science Day was held at the University of Oslo (UiO), in the Science Library and Sophus Lie’s auditorium. The event, organised by dScience, drew over 400 participants, including students, PhD candidates, postdocs, and professionals from both the industry and public sector.
